Volvo Trucks North America is finally ready to unveil its new 2018 Volvo VNL series truck. This redesign of the iconic VNL line is the first facelift in ten years and was primarily inspired by the voice of fleet owners and drivers alike. The 2018 VNL series aims to deliver “profitable uptime,” a catchphrase that defines the purpose behind many of the truck’s new features.

According to Peter Voorhoeve, Volvo Trucks President, “This new truck offers significantly improved productivity through enhanced connectivity, safety, and uptime solutions. For example, the Vertical Rear View Mirror—V-RVM—is a new way to increase driver visibility while reducing drag and improving aerodynamics. Along with other exterior design features like LED headlights, fog, and exterior side lamps, drivers can see and be seen more clearly than ever before.”
